Requirements:


1. Membership: Candidates should be active members of DDN-Global with a good standing in the organization for at least a year.



2. Commitment to DDN-Global’s Vision and Mission: Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to the organization's vision of "Enhancing Hidden Potentials in People" and its mission of empowering individuals through education, training, and community projects.



3. Local Engagement: Candidates should have a proven track record of community involvement or leadership in local projects aligned with DDN-Global initiatives (e.g., "Planting for Food and Jobs" or relief programs).



4. Knowledge of Diaspora Issues: Understanding of the issues faced by diaspora communities and the potential for collaboration between local and global stakeholders.



5. Leadership Experience: A background in leadership roles, whether within DDN-Global or other community, civic, or organizational settings.



6. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate regional activities, engage with local communities, and represent DDN-Global at events.



7. Age Requirement: Depending on your focus on youth empowerment, a minimum age requirement (e.g., 25 years) could be considered.




Qualifications:


1. Educational Background: A degree in fields related to social work, community development, business management, or education would be beneficial, though not mandatory if the candidate has equivalent experience.



2. Experience in Non-Profit or Community Work: Experience in the non-profit sector, social enterprise, or community development work is essential to effectively manage DDN-Global’s projects at the regional level.



3. Networking Abilities: Candidates should demonstrate strong networking skills, with the ability to build partnerships with local stakeholders, government bodies, and potential sponsors.



4. Innovation and Initiative: Candidates should possess the ability to identify opportunities for local growth and development, aligned with DDN-Global’s objectives, and demonstrate initiative in creating and leading regional projects.



5. Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage projects, particularly in an environment with limited resources, ensuring successful implementation of DDN-Global's programs.


These requirements and qualifications would ensure that elected Regional Representatives are capable of advancing DDN-Global’s goals at a local level while upholding the organization's values.
